EUCBEC: Logistics on the new Silk Road

by Editorial Office

The EU CROSS-BORDER E-COMMERCE FORUM took place last December in Liège, Belgium. The focus was on the challenges of global e-commerce as well as the desire for efficient cross-border logistics concepts along the new Silk Road.

The EUCBEC Forum is primarily addressed to companies and service providers who are or want to become engaged along the new Silk Road. It is currently trying to establish itself as an industry platform.

Alongside numerous Chinese visitors, traders and logistics providers, Bardo Lehmann-Tolkmitt, Head of International Parcel Sales at Hermes International, a division of Hermes Germany, was also on site. He spoke at the forum in a short interview about the new Silk Road, global trade and the still young year 2020.
