DDP

by Editorial Office

DDP – Delivered Duty Paid: In the case of DDP, it is up to the seller to clear the goods for export and import. That means he needs to do all the paperwork and pay the customs fees. The seller then provides the goods to the buyer on the means of transportation ready to be unloaded at the agreed destination.

As with DAP – Delivered at Place and DAT – Delivered at Terminal, with DDP the exporter also bears the risk and expenses until reaching the destination.
