Payment Service Providers – PSPs – are companies that adopt and integrate online payment methods in online shops. Examples of such payment methods are PayPal, instant transfer or credit cards such as Mastercard and Visacard.
PSP vendors typically offer their solution as a Software-as-a-Service. Thus there is no direct relationship between the merchant on the one hand and the payment solution on the other.
